Initial Cleaning 2

Here is the front rim before we started cleaning it up.

Here is the front fork leg before cleaning. The clear coating is still in place but, as you can see, it is very yellow from age. This common on older UJM's.

We cleaned up one of the handlebar mount bolts just to see how it would look. It turned out well enough for the initial phase of this rebuild that I can put off any idea of zinc plating until we get to phase two when we'll tear it all down again.
